Vintage Red & Black Enamel Compact Purse 1920s Antique Mirror Powder Rouge & Lipstick Compact Dance PurseThis is a stunning 1920's vintage red and black enamel powder, rouge, mirror and lipstick compact dance purse in excellent condition. The compact appears to be a D. F. Briggs compact from others we have had. It is not hallmarked that we could find. The gorgeous red and black enamel is in excellent condition, and the compact is complete with the original bar and link carrying wristlet. The exterior edges have a beautiful repousse pattern, and the back

The beveled mirror does have some very slight haze

and the smaller is 1 inch in diameter

as is the lipstick case

as is the pretty enameled center medallion

There are 7 chains of the bottom fringe that are missing or shorter

but we have not tested this item

rust or corrosion or fading

We have a large selection of vintage and antique cigarette and card cases

and it would make a lovely evening bag for a night out on the town

The pretty gold tone chain that adds an additional 14 inch drop from the top of the frame

with the chain handle adding an additional 3 1/2 inches
