Back then, it would have been a difficult assignment to capture the play of light in the trees on canvas. I enjoyed painting this nostalgic landscape. It keeps me company

While painting this I had uncertainties about the realism of it

and as much as I love myself a splash of red on my color palette

They would then know no sorrow

going back and forth

a sense of being observed washes over them

Heavy chains adorn its neck
