1920's Gold Chatelaine Mechanical Pencil Art Nouveau Note Pad Vintage Ladies Leather Wallet Propelling PencilThis is a very rare and wonderful 1920's Art Nouveau note pad with a gold plated mechanical chatelaine pencil. The piece is in excellent condition, with a working gold plated propelling or mechanical pencil with lead. It is a reddish brown tooled leather with a wonderful Art Nouveau design, and has two areas to slide in cash, business cards or a note pad. The piece has a note pad inside with some paper left. The pencil has lead inside, and is useable;

It has a full rouge compartment that still has the foil wrap on it

also the bottom has some sort of covering that is partially missing

and no dents

There is only a slight amount of the red lipstick and powder remaining

The piece is hallmarked Amere Made In Switzerland on the interior powder compartment lid

The tin is in great condition

It measures 2 7/8ths inches square

It has no visible hallmarks

The only issue we found is some age related mirror haze and silver loss around the edge of the mirror
