Bernkasteler Lay, 2019 By Dr. H. Thanisch, by Wines of the SeaA sharp and dense Riesling from the Lay vineyard with a classification of GG, Grosses Gewachs, which represents the highest quality grapes from the best vineyards which can only be used for dry wines. A highly complex wine with great intensity and a wonderful mineral texture. Aromas of yellow pears, grapefruit, mango, and wet rocks emerge from the glass at first. After time, those aromas turn to hints of marmalade, white flowers, jasmines, and salt.
