Antique Paris Opera Glasses Mother Of Pearl La CoronaHere's a stunning pair of antique Paris France mother of pearl opera glasses by La Corona, made in the late 1880's. They measure approximately 4 inches across the base and 2 1 4 inches in height when extended fully; and come in the original black leather and blue silk lined case. They're in wonderful condition and are hallmarked on the eye pieces with the La Corona name, as well as Paris, and the Whittlesey Cleveland Opticians. They also are marked on

The box was a Christmas gift to someone in 1956 and still has the original Christmas tag on the bottom of the box

It opens to hold cigarettes

They measure 2 1/4 inches in height when closed and a bit over 3 inches high when fully extended

but is still a unique and lovely little piece

it is absolutely stunning

The only issue we could find is some haze to the still usable mirror

market from 1911 to 1921 normally had this particular stamp

and would make a wonderful addition to your vanity

This is a fantastic and very rare 1920's silver tone guilloche makeup dance compact purse with a hand painted bird

and both powder puffs that are in lovely condition
