Whiting & Davis Art Deco Gold Mesh & Black Enamel Purse 1940's Flapper Evening Handbag RAREThis is an elegant vintage 1940's Art Deco style Whiting & Davis black enamel and gold mesh flapper evening purse. The purse measures approximately 6 inches across, and from the top of the frame to the bottom is approximately is 9 inches in length. The pretty gold tone bar and link chain handle adds an additional 15 1 2 inch drop from the top of the frame. The frame is gold tone in color with a black enamel accent on one side of the frame. handle and frame are all in fabulous condition
The interior lining is also free from damage
There are no hallmarks of any kind on either of these pieces
Easy to remove with a lobster clasp
as is the hand painted vintage radio style front
