Very Very Old Fitzgerald 12 Year Bourbon 1970. 4/5 QuartThis 12 year "Very Very Old" was distilled and barreled in 1958under Pappy's leadership and supervisionand contains 100 percent Stitzel Weller distillate. Pappy passed away in 1965 which means this barrel was dumped and bottled by his son, Julian II, in 1970. While regular Old Fitzgerald, Weller Special Reserve and other brands were the bulk of production for Stitzel Weller, Very Old Fitzgerald was considered their premium line from the late 1940s
