Wave Clouds on Glacier Peak: 24x36 Limited Edition PrintWhile crossing the White Chuck Glacier on descent from Glacier Peak, the clouds near the summit created a rare formation referred to as a wave cloud, also known as Kelvin Helmholtz clouds, formed when a layer of faster moving air moves over a slower moving layer, creating a wave like pattern.
