Matador Tobacco Tin Antique Advertising Square Corner Metal BoxHere's a rare antique Circa 1880's Matador Granulated Mixture Pipe Tobacco tin. It was manufactured by Aug. Beck & Co. "For Fine Pipe Smoking". This turn of the century square corner lithographed tin was printed and manufactured by Illinois Can Co, Chicago, Illinois. and when lifted reveals the rouge compartment with original rouge and powder puff

and a plastic shaker top that can be removed to fill the piece

It opens with a push button on the front of the case

The tin shows signs of age wear

and when you light the lighter it plays a pretty little tune

with some dings and discoloration to the metal alloy

This is a pretty little Art Deco enamel powder and rouge finger ring compact purse in wonderful condition

Most of these touch tip lighters that you find on the internet aren't in working condition

It's has no visible hallmarks

or for when you want to open and close the case without lighting the lighter

The only issue we see is some age related discoloration on the chrome metal around the eye pieces

The mirror is in fantastic condition
