Deere Art Nouveau Gold Compact Box 1920s Nude Powder Tin RareThis is an extremely rare 1920's Art Nouveau Deere powder compact tin in a gold tone metal with a gorgeous raised relief design. The piece measures 2 1 2 inches in diameter and 1 2 inch in height. It is hallmarked "Deere" in fancy script above the partially nude woman holding a hand held mirror. Below it is hallmarked "The Reich Ash Co., NY". This compact is in good condition, with only some minor age appropriate tarnish, wear and dings to the piece.
It has a new flint
and finished off with brass trim
Only very minor scuffing
The bag measures approximately 7 inches in length by 4 inches in height
Clean inside and out
as well as empty powder and rouge compartments
There are no chips
Lithographed paper covers over the cardboard base
