A very fine and fresh unused, with original gum, block of four lettered 'DB EC', overprinted "SPECIMEN" type 9. One blunt perforation at right, which does not detract from what is a wonderful block with good colour and centring not often seen with this overprint and watermark combination. These Specimen examples were used solely by postal administrations for reference
