1920s Art Deco Silver Plated Powder Box Coffin Gazelle Weidlich Brothers Beauty Box RareThis is an extremely rare and stunning vintage circa 1920's Weidlich Brothers silver plated casket or coffin shaped compact beauty box or powder jar with a gazelle handle. This piece is in wonderful condition; with some light tarnish, but no dents, rust or serious damage. The dark spot on the lid is a reflection, and not damage. It has an Art Deco silver plated gazelle topper; that you can use to open the lid. Art Modern display; with pressed rouge

It has a pretty Victorian shape and design with an oval shaped black enamel medallion

This is a lovely Victorian sterling silver retractable chain eyeglass brooch or pin

and the hinge is also in great working condition

These are no longer made

The piece measures approximately 11 inches in length and 5 1/2 inches in height

but still shiny

The chain and finger ring add an additional 2 3/4 inches drop from the top of the compact
