Winkie LambruscoA vibrant red Pom type dahlia, with its yellow base peeking through, giving off an orange glow. A low compact plant, was quite prolific, making for a good cut.

Now the little bit dirty in my description is due to its notoriously troublesome tubers

lemon toned

a medium sized plant with fantastic strong stems all season long

which worked well with lots of other blooms

that we thoroughly enjoyed growing this season

It is probably the most variable bloom available which is definitely part of its charm

A must have dahlia for every flower farmer

of Warraview Dahlias and named after my parents which is a bit special

This variety produced an abundancy of blooms on incredibly long stems that look fantastic as a stand alone bloom in a vase

topped off with its dark stems
