Even though  the very high magnification of the photos are able to show some small black crystals at the surface on the table of this piece the stone is easily eye clean

This rough tourmaline is a lovely mix of blues to greens (occasionally a brown or olive pops up) and is in sizes perfect for setting in jewellery as is or great practice material for gem cutters
