Loaded with a pair of Duncan Designed Invader style pickups and a locking TRS-101 tremolo system

making it useful for those who want to experiment with tones with minimal pedalboard space

Very nice vintage condition as pictured with some light wear and tear from general use but no breaks or repairs

Maple body and neck ("D" profile) with an ebony fingerboard (12" radius

but the green label dates it to mid-late 1980

it's made with a solid mahogany body with a maple top with a slim 60's mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard

A switch for the Ruetz mod has also been added to the RAT section and the germanium clipping diodes have been removed

the SL550S was one of Yamaha's revised Studio Lord models

The Floyd Rose tremolo system and locking nut are both vintage models as pictured and the only thing that realistically seems replaced is the truss rod cover

Made in Japan by Edwards in the early 2000's (prior to them using serial numbers)
