Mid Century Modern Franco Albini small stoolA Lovely little bamboo stool by Franco Albini. The stool measures approx 52 cm by 52 cm and 42 cm tall. This is a preloved item so may show some signs of wear and tear consistent with its age and use. Some of the bindings have unravelled so i have glued them back in place. The inside of the seat is difficult to clean so there is a little dust inside. None of this detracts from its use and retro loveliness.
I have sanded back the top of the table and oiled with osmo to protect the surface
Some of the wood effect has worn away to the top and around the handle as shown in the pics
One of the grub screws is missing from one of the arms on the desk

I have sanded the table and seat down and applied several coats of Oil and updated the cushion with new foam and Black Vinyl
but it has a walnut look

The rubber on One of the wheels is more perished than the others
I believe the tables are veneered with rosewood which is very much in the danish style of this period
The MCM large round Coffee/Supper Table by Inger Klingenberg for France & Søn is a stunning piece of Danish design from the mid-20th century
