Sea Spaghetti

Sea SpaghettiSea Spaghetti Aberffraw BeachThis print captures Himanthalia elongata, commonly known as sea spaghetti. I've varied how I've printed the specimen, sometimes it may be printed in a flattened, straightened form that highlights its clean, graphic lines or left to retain its natural flowing shape, echoing how it moves in water. This variation speaks to the organic unpredictability of the material and is part of the evolving nature of the collection.

The print is supplied in a white mount with backing board and will be posted flat

Shipping within the UK is free and for other territories is calculated at check out

Additionally

I've used my regular blue and gold acrylic ink

It will be shipped using Parcel Force on an insured service

The paper is Chinese Xuan paper and is around 70cm x 35cm

I applied it using the same Urauchi method

I then cut this at 2cm all the way around the print and then add the final backing paper

then mixed digitally with some of my watercolour work
