The Caenis model never appeared in Orvis' regularly published catalogs and was sold through their newsletter called "The Orvis News". There are currently only twenty six known to exist in Greg Reynold's fantastic and highly useful Orvis Rod Database, along with five of the Yamame Special models, the same rod that was marketed in Japan.
