I found this small bird in my outdoor studio one day, it must have flown into the side wall and died. I made a few photographs the first day, the second day a friend was over I and I asked her to model with my find. I like when pictures come along compelling me to make new work. Simple and beautiful + a story for each viewer to dream up. This hand

Later after developing my film I discovered a large bird had happened into my frame

this structure had my mind racing

I have other views and this is my favorite

but some other worthy sorts find their way into my heart only after some time has passed
