We've used this pattern to make our Hubert in vintage English mohair, although you can make him in a variety of mohairs ranging from 3mm vintage mohair to 25mm distressed mohair and in crushed velvet. You could also dye the mohair and it would retain the charcoal tipping while the cream part of the fur and the backcloth would take on the colour of the dye
