60's Houndstooth Wool Belted Skirt Suit by Norman NorellThis is a very rare, vintage skirt suit from acclaimed American designer Norman Norell (1900 1972). The union label in this suit was used from 1963 1974, placing it in the mid to late 1960s. The five button jacket has no collar, four patch pockets, a leather belt, buttoned cuffs, and is lined in silk taffeta. The skirt has a few gathers on each side of the front waistband, making it slighter fuller than a "pencil" skirt. The fabric is a heavy wool
