medieval pot helmetThe pot helmet is the predecessor of the well known great helm. Pot helmets were worn by knights between the 12th and early 14th centuries, and were used amongst other things during the Crusades. Constructed from 1. 6 mm steel, the helmet is equipped with a natural canvas lining and a 2 mm nose piece. The helmet is well suited to reenactment battles.
