1930s Bliss Brothers Guilloche Powder Compact 24kt Gold Plated In Excellent ConditionThis is a stunning vintage 1930's Bliss Brothers 24kt gold plated guilloche powder, rouge and mirror compact. The piece is in excellent condition, with extremely minimal signs of use. There is no damage to the enamel on either side, and it has a lovely repousse design around the piece. The guilloche has a pretty handpainted pink rose with green leaves surrounded by yellow flowers. The only hallmark we could find was the Bliss hallmark stamped in the

which shows in our 1st and 3rd photo

the only issue we found was the cracked mirror

but for accuracy we wanted to mention it

and is full of the original wonderful smelling talc

and it displays beautifully

with slight haze and minimal silvering around the edges

and shows a crisp image

It is a 3 ounce sized tin that is in excellent to mint condition

It has engraved initials on the lid that are very hard to read in old script

and is 2 1/8 inches in width
