1920s Matchbox Match Holder Cloisonne Vintage Match Safe Enamel & Brass Matchbox CoverThis is a beautiful little vintage 1920's cloisonn floral enamel on brass matchbox holder or match safe. Both sides have the same pretty colorful floral design. The base is constructed of brass. There is some minor age related wear to the piece, but nothing that detracts from the pretty design or function. It measures 2 3 8 inches across by 1 1 8 inches deep by 7 8 inch in thickness. What a great item to add to your collection, display, gift or use.

It is hallmarked in the interior with the Elgin American logo

and comes in the original box

and is in working condition
