1940s DuBarry Powder & Lipstick Compact Purse Metallic CaseThis is a lovely 1940's vintage DuBarry powder and lipstick compact purse with a metallic compact case. The powder compact is in good condition, with only one very tiny pin point dark spot on the lid, which would probably polish out. It has a clear mirror, with no damage, and still has the powder with plastic shield, as well as the original hallmarked powder puff. The metallic case is also in very good condition, and also holds a lipstick case that is

Possibly to add a photo or information card

The case hallmark is on the holder bar inside the case

and is now in working order

This is a wonderful working ladies gold and abalone Elgin American lighter from 1955 in the original box

This piece measures 2 1/4 inches in diameter

and cream colored satin interior

This is a very unique piece in that it has a pretty faceted garnet stone for the clasp

The exterior enamel is in excellent condition

Also the powder compartment lid does not stay closed

Inside the compact is the original powder puff

and light scuffing to the gold plating
