Mackerel Oil on BoardMy first effort at painting fish! For some time now Ive worked closely with fabulous marine creatures but never attempted to paint one. This wont be my last fish painting as I loved this so much. Painted using oil on primed board, the larger than life mackerel painting measures around 70cm long and 35cm wide. It's not currently for sale as it needs varnishing but I'm showing it as an example of my painted work. The painting is unframed. As always

This print measures 34x24cm and is on Chinese Mulberry paper and has been mounted using the authentic Japanese wet mounting technique which uses a simple flour and water paste and requires a period of around 24 hours to dry and stretch
