Linotaku Sardine and AnchovyThis striking 6 x 6 inch print features a lino cut of an anchovy and sardine swimming toward one another, creating a simple but dynamic composition. Both fish were hand carved in lino, with their forms carefully based on real specimens. Ive used my signature acrylic inks, which are both lightfast and permanent, giving the piece depth and longevity. As with my other prints, careful attention has been given to detail and finish throughout the process.

This bass is printed on Chinese mulberry paper measuring 69

which I flattened and strengthened with Urauchi
