Menai Strait Line Caught Sea Bass Gyotaku.This bass was caught on a line by a local fisherman here in North Wales. It was caught on the Menai Stait. Bass are my favourite fish to print the definition you get on the scales is wonderful. This bass is printed on Chinese Xuan Paper which is approximately 70cm x 35cm. I've used a blue acrylic ink which is both light fast and permanent. The composition in this print is one I revisit as I love the loneliness of the fish as it dives. Printing is just

Framed it measures 69

The print is then left for around 24 hours to dry out

The print is approx 60x39cm

The print measures 31m by 16cm and will be shipped flat and wrapped in acid free tissue paper

That said I had the size very much in mind as I composed this series of works
